About Me

Marissa Galin Wayne is an accomplished Technical Director and creative production leader with more than 15 years of experience bringing some of the world’s most imaginative live and immersive experiences to life. A CalArts alumna with a BFA in Technical Direction and Stage Management, Marissa has built a decorated career at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and design — transforming creative concepts into seamless, award-winning realities.

Her work spans themed entertainment, museum installations, live events, and broadcast productions, collaborating with leading creative studios, entertainment giants, and technical innovators across the globe. From her early days as a Technical Designer at LA ProPoint to her tenure at Universal Studios Hollywood — where she led large-scale event and special effects operations for Halloween Horror Nights, Grinchmas, and eVe 2020 — Marissa has developed a reputation for excellence, precision, and leadership under pressure.

As Technical Director at BRC Imagination Arts, she played a pivotal role in the design, engineering, and integration of multi-million-dollar permanent installations and museum experiences — several of which went on to earn prestigious industry awards. Her ability to bridge creative ambition with technical execution made her a trusted voice within cross-disciplinary teams and a key contributor to BRC’s global reputation for innovation and storytelling.

Today, as Co-Founder and CEO of Mesmeric Designs, Marissa continues to redefine what’s possible in live and experiential entertainment. She leads production, lighting, & technical design and management for concerts, immersive environments, and broadcast projects, blending artistry and engineering to deliver unforgettable experiences. Known for her collaborative leadership style and relentless drive for perfection, she is respected throughout the industry as a mentor, problem-solver, and creative force who makes the extraordinary achievable.

When not working, Marissa can be found enjoying the outdoors with her husband and elder-bull — hiking, biking, snowboarding, or body-boarding. She’s also an avid cook and baker who finds balance tending to her tropical and succulent garden at home.
